Pet Boarding
If you are going out of town, board your pet at Bloomington Veterinary Hospital. We are proud to offer pet boarding under the supervision of our veterinary team. We cater to all of your pet’s needs, including food, play time, several walks, and lots of fun! By choosing us, you can rest assured that if your pet has a health concern while you are away, they will be in the best hands possible.

- Up to date Rabies Vaccine
- Up to date Distemper Vaccine
- Up to date Bordetella Vaccine
- Intestinal Parasite Check (within last 6 months)

LESS THAN 25 LBS:
- If YOU provide food: $25.50/night
- If WE provide food: $27/night
26-45 LBS:
- If YOU provide food: $26/night
- If WE provide food: $28/night
46-65 LBS:
- If YOU provide food: $26.50/night
- If WE provide food: $29.50/night
66-85 LBS:
- If YOU provide food: $27/night
- If WE provide food: $30.50/night
86-100 LBS:
- If YOU provide food: $27.50/night
- If WE provide food: $31.00/night
MORE THAN 100 LBS:
- If YOU provide food: $28.00/night
- If WE provide food: $31.50/night
Feline Boarding Requirements
- Up to date Rabies Vaccine
- Up to date DCR/FVRCP Vaccine
- Intestinal Parasite Check (within last 6 months)
- IF INDOOR ONLY: at least 1 FeLV/FIV test
- IF WE GO OUTSIDE:
- Up to date Leukemia Vaccine
- FeLV/FIV test (within last 12 months)
Feline Boarding Cost
- If YOU provide food: $19.40/night
- If WE provide food: $26/night
Additional Boarding Information
MEDICAL BOARDING:
If your pet takes three or more “prescription” medications or a potentially life-threatening medical condition, they will have their vitals checked by a Veterinary Technician once a day for an additional $12.90/day.
MEDICATIONS:
All prescription medications MUST come in the bottle they were originally dispensed in, which has the medication name and instructions. Please do not separate them into separate containers.
FLEAS:
We check every pet for fleas upon arrival. If we find any evidence of fleas, we will administer a CapStar pill at an additional fee. Flea prevention is not required to board with us, but it is strongly recommended.
BEHAVIORAL ISSUES:
Please inform our kennel staff if your pet has any known behavioral issues, even if they are very minor. We strive to provide the best experience for your pet while with us, and knowing about any important personality traits helps us to do that!
